DRINK 'N' DRAW: The British Summer!

A heatwave is upon is and for the 18th Drink 'n' Draw, we're moving into the sunshine (if you want to)! DnD will take over the Sandbar this month, using both the event room and the beer gardens for scribbling and supping.

There'll be 2 new drawing activities including Face Holes (see comments for explanation), discounted drinks, free ice lollies, the usual Comic Jam and tiny deckchairs. All for FREE as always.

AND, the MCC Shop @ Sandbar is being spruced up especially for the occasion and will feature lots of new comics from the Manchester Scene.

I hope this will be the biggest Drink 'n' Draw yet so I hope you can all make it. And if it rains, we'll just pretend it's summer anyway with frilly parasols and handkerchief hats.

Just a note to remind everyone the big Summer Drink 'n' Draw is today at 4! The live painting outside has been replaced with a game called FACE HOLES. We'll have big sheets of card with face sized holes cut out of them. It's up to you to draw a circus strongman, chubby lady in a bathing suit or a Mutant Space Marine.
Plus the usual Comic Jam, a new activity for every table called Blank Comix, discounted beer, free homemade Vimto lollies, little deckchairs to hold your phone or action figure and all round good vibes. See you later!

I take back my promise of ice lollies, The Tom is poorly sick so it's looking unlikely. If he's feeling better I'm certain he could rustle up some cookies/cake! :-)
