So I just checked how many members this place has now and it's up to A Whole Bunch* and I realised I don't actually know half of you. So, I'm christening this new discussion so basically people can check in and say 'hi' and 'hello' and 'waddup gangster' so that nobody goes without friends or has to just awkwardly click on random profiles and start talking.

So underneath just say who you are, what you do (if anything, you might not. It's a valid life choice) where you're from or what comics you like.

There may already be one on here somewhere but I don't know. I should know because I have mod powers and I've been here since the beginning. But I don't know.

*I realised I couldn't actually say a real number like 100 or 9 billion because any number I type here will quickly become out of date and irrelevant

My name's Dan Rowbottom and I've been making comics for a few years . I created Vic, The Dog from the Future, The Bread Monkey Mask, Mooples with no Scruples and loads of other silly strange tiny comics. Hello!

My name's Stephen Hitchen, everybody calls me Ste. Originally from Chorley, Lancs but somehow ended up in a tiny village on the outskirts of Buxton. I run the village post office and general store (selling veg, sweets, awesome bacon etc) which only has 2 busy-ish days per week, so gives me plenty of time to doodle comics and things. Been drawing my journal comic a mere 2 months, which can be found here. I've also been writing a comic script for about a year now, and desperately need to get my act together and get a proposal printed up. Only recently joined the collective and I'm impressed by the quality of work on display. Looking forward to getting to know you all better!

Howdi Do people...

I'm Jamie from Manc City Centre, I have decided to write a GN and want to part of any local comic community thats going on... So far i have a rough draft with about a 1/3 of the story missing...

I'm also thinking of inking/drawing it myslef but i am currently way short of the talent needed, so i'm also gonna draw every day until i get better...

Hi, I'm Lee and I drudge my day through an office job in Salford and then remember that lots of people have lost their jobs and other people are starving so it's really not that bad. I'm drawing a comic and I get all paranoid about discussing it the closer it gets to being finished...which is only a 3rd of page until the 1st issue is done. Which is how it has been for 2 months because I keep getting sidetracked by needing to wallpaper the rabbit or something equally non-comic related.
However one day soon I'll have it all up on here and at the conventions and I'll meet you guys and stop talking in riddles.

My names Steve I live in Barnsley but spend quite a bit of time in Manchester as my brother lives there. I have one comic out called 'The Deadline' in Travelling Man and I was introduced to this site by the people who work there and told to join!

Im working on my masters at the moment studying the appeal of traditional british comics and if that appeal can be translated to animation. Im working on another comic at the moment. So Im a busy bee! Would like to get to know a few more creators to get some tips and tricks and all that!
