Hmmm....I don't have any A3 stuff specifically, but I'd love to be involved and maybe display some work. Or if A3 stuff is needed specifically, I can try to hustle butt and start a new project going at that size (I really should get a few new projec…
This maybe completely insane, but I'll put the same movie on loop over and over for every project I get into. Some of the ones I can watch forever (some of these I've "watched" over 100 times are...) Chasing Amy, Rules of Attraction, The Big Lebowsk…
I've only ever really followed The Maxx series, as well as The Perry Bible Fellowship online, and more recently Oglaf. But I really enjoy graphic novels such as Arkham Asylum, Paul Auster's City of Glass, and The Adventures of Luther Arkwright. I also love the Far Side.
About Me:
Angela Guyton was born in Colombia, was raised in Miami, and now resides in Manchester, England. In Miami she attended Florida International University and studied with Clive King and Richard Duncan, both of whom profoundly influenced Angela’s image making techniques and approaches to art. In 2005 she graduated as a cum-laude graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Art Education.
Now in England, Angela performs as a member of Takahashi’s Shellfish Concern. A group in which abstract expressionist visual art is combined with experimental electronic-acoustic music to accentuate the similarities of both. This is the second such project she’s undertaken where she’s explored music and sound as subject, as well as explored image making as live performance. She is married to composer/musician Rodrigo Constanzo, who is also a member of the aforementioned groups. Angela hopes to persue an MFA in the near future.
