I'm definitely into the idea of taking part in an anthology, Rob, count me in. No idea about the title at the moment though.

The Videodrome

Hi all,

Quick note to say the first strip has been updated on my new webcomic, The Videodrome.

To start with there's a reworked version of an old strip of mine, but coming around the end of September is something brand new - House of the Holy Flesh Eaters. A zombie/nun story in the tradition of ove… Continue

Yes indeed! Stranger still that it's 10 years since both Millennium opened it's doors and Spaced was on the TV.

1999 was a big year for both comic books and the referencing of comic books on tv.

Cheers Chris
I'll help anyway I can. What is it you are looking to do? Having worked in comics for a couple of years I can say animation is very different industry. All I ever wanted to do when I was a kid was draw comics but soon as I stepped into animation I knew I could never go back.
So hear I am on the Manchester Comix collective site. Comics still interest me obviously.

Cheers

Hi Chris - yeah, spooky eh - two Chrises doing comic stuff within a couple of square miles of each other! I actually work in Winsford so I'm even nearer than you thought.
I'm hoping to do a bit more illustrating and maybe even make a few quid out of it (rather than the occasional commission I get at the mo) but the day job gets in the way. Still, you have to have a dream, eh? That's one of the reasons I joined up here, to do a bit of networking (for want of a better term) and see what other people in the area are doing.
Had a quick look at your stuff - very nice. There are other links by the look of it - someone at work passed me a comic I think you worked on - one of those Accent UK things, a while ago because they had been working on it. Small world, eh? I also know John Reppion through my website, who also contributes to them.
Keep up the good work,
Chris
