Totally agree with you about both Exit Wounds and Mr Tomine! I think Shortcomings is my fave by him, have you read it? Would you be interested in looking at some stuff ive written by the way? I think your art would suit my words rather wonderfully...or you may think my writing is absolute arse...either way!

Aaah it sucks that you can't go to the Leeds con, I'm afraid I wont be either due to he lack of cash, but you say you've never really been to a con? Don't feel too weird about it, my first and last was the last Bristol convention :P Thats probably the one I wont miss, its much easier planning ahead for one when you know what to expect!
Anyway it'd be great to see you at the night though, yes its on Thurs, I'd say 7pm but I'm normally there well before then, you'll be more than welcome!
Hmm. How many people were at Drink & Draw? If there were ten, it looks like I was being rude about the turnout just there*, even though ten people would be a good turnout. No: I just meant there are more than almost no people there, usually. You must've just gone on a funny day. I wish I could remember what I was doing that week, but I can't.
Same emma from Drink&Draw, yep? Hallo, I'm the Dave from across the table. I echo Toby, pop over to the shop on a Thursday night if you can, there are usually more than TEN PEOPLE there at a time and sometimes we talk and everything! It's quite something. Abby and I are always there, except apparently the one time you came in, soz about that. That actually must have been the only time in years I wasn't there.
I guess it's a really interesting course. Did you get to do some screen-printing and some animation? I couldn't go to the Drink&Draw yesterday, hope you enjoyed it, see you next time!
If you are coming I highly recommend getting there as soon as you can, 7:30 is the curtain call if you like and the show starts once everyone is settled. I know every one really comes for the drawing but the show is a good way of ramping it up, also we cant let in any more people after 7:40 ish if not 7:35!! odd I know but we have some conditions with the venue we have to follow. if you take my phone number off the face book page: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=67060465257&ref=share then you can click yes you are coming and on the night give me a bell when you arrive and I can get some one to let you in! look forward to seeing you there!
