THE SKINNY:

We have 10 exhibitors confirmed for the MCC's double table, with 8 of those present at the con. This works out at £14.00 each for two days of table space at the UK's biggest comic con. Payment will be made to me, Adam Cadwell, during set-up (8am-10am) on the Saturday or when you arrive at the table. For those sending work down, we'll ask for payment nearer the time in case the numbers change.

Unfortunately Abigail Ryder and Dave Bulmer have had to drop out due to their printers letting them down, but I'd like to thank Abby for all her help in organising this and booking the tables.

Everyone behind the table MUST wear a red t-shirt. You can wear a shirt or jumper if you like, but be aware that it gets really hot and sweaty in the hall. Your chosen attire can have logos and artwork on it, anything as long as it's red. Don't be lame and not join in.

We will have a plain red tablecloth and a MCC banner so no-one will be able to miss the bright red table with all the awesome work.

Travel:
A Saver return on most trains is £62.80, though I managed to find a return for £46 from www.raileasy.co.uk.

Hotels:
Rooms will be filling up quickly, so the best and cheapest option is to share with somebody. Leave a comment if you are interested in this.
There's info on lots of hotels here. Note, the Ramada Plaza (E on the map) is the official hotel of the con and so will be the fullest, only the pricey rooms are left. It is kind of hidden on the map behind the Mercure Holland House (also pricey).

Contact:
If anyone needs any more information, directions once you get there or anything at all please give me a call on my mobile, 07985 513497.

Only 3 days to go! See you there!

Okay, good stuff. There'll be no charge for putting flyers on the table of course. See you there, sir!
Cheers, Adam. Working on 'em right now. I'm still looking for a hotel, but I may be interested in sharing if anyone wants a few quid for a floor/sofa space. I'm quiet, clean, and will probably only get to the room around dawn/sunday morning. Let me know if anyone's interested. See you all there!
When I say 'a few quid' I mean something like just under half the cost of the room. Idea?
Its getting Exciting now! Tomorrow is the last chance to meet up.
Comic’s night at TM. Hope to see as many as possible of you there if you aren’t to busy with printing and stapling.

If not see y'all at the Con!
Info for Bristol has been updated, please see above for particulars. The cost per person right now is £14 though could change either way last minute.

I personally can't wait. I hope the weather keeps.

See you there. I will be around on the Friday night for drinks too.
would that work out as £7 for just the saturday? sorry to ask but money's too tight to mention and that.
If you just want to sell on the Saturday then yeah, it'll be £7, but if you'd like to leave some copies for us to sell for you on the Sunday, then it'll be £14.
nice one. i'll see how i get on on the saturday as to whether i can stump up for the sunday.

best
Alright, guys. Nice to (briefly) see you in Bristol. Hope you all did well with your promotion and sales and most importantly had a good time. Chris, you seemed a little startled when I approached you, which seems to happen a lot for some reason. And I genuinely hope you didn't take offense to the "cartoony" comment. The books are great. Sorry I didn't get chance to say much to anyone else but what a crazy weekend!! Had a blast, hope you all did too. -- Gav
I was quite startled all weekend, to be honest - I was getting starstruck left right and centre. Girlfriend kept telling me to calm down. I wasn't offended by the cartoony comment, was just my nervous attempt at making a joke. Thanks for picking the comics up :)
That's good then. I was quite happy to have Dave Gibbons sign my ancient copy of Give Me Liberty and mingling with everyone in the Plaza bar was fun. I like to think of myself as a fairly collected person, but yeah there were a few geek out moments for me too. -- Gav
I've written a con report in my blog so please have a read and check out the many photos. Please add any comments there as I'm closing this discussion. Thanks.
