Love The Way You Love is out this week. So what? Well, I did the majority of the tones for this book to help out artist (and I suppose friend)

Hello everyone. Dan Lester's new anthology 'Who Gives a **** About Mickey Rourke' is finally out so I thought i'd mention it here. I've got 2 pages in it and the back cover. It's also got Matthew Craig, Dan Lester (obviously), Banal Pig, Douglas Noble and lots of other people in it. I thought it was a really good anthology this time, way better than the 'Crap Your Pants' anthology.
You can get it here-

Hello
Got this e mail from OK Comics today and I was wondering if anyone would be up for being in an anthology for their Night Light event. I’ve done a 11 page story recently, an oddly whimsical story called ‘the city that fell in love with its own reflection’ and was wondering if a few people would like to do something about cities or light and then we could stick ‘em together… I think if people have longer stories it would be better as my story is quite a long one at 11 pages. Could split cost…

I suck! I arrived at 10:30 at the Font for Drink and Draw 7, harassed and Rushed, I hammered it over from Southport in order to bring hot off the press latest My Dr Sketchy poster. Needless to say everything is late this month, but I am desperately trying to stick to the last wednesday of the month thing, to be as consistent as possible. Any way we have a venue change so no longer at Bluu we are now in Cafe Melba which is part of the Upperspace gallery. see the Dr Sketchy's myspace or face book…

Hello
I have recently started a new comic blog, 'so what? thats just what the internet needs' you might say, but I have put up reviews of the comics I bought and liked the most at Bristol Comics Expo 2008. Also I am putting up sketchbook pages and news about my own comics. I'm going to do lots more reviews of small press stuff too.

So... I decided to take my work back underground... to stop it falling into the wrong hands...
Well, actually, that's bollocks. Not just because my work has never actually
been Underground, but that even if it had, it's about to get more
over-ground than it's ever before. This year foul year of our Lord two-thousand and eight, the evil, throbbing, art-promoting phallus that is Nick Dismas is going to be rammed down the figurative throat of publishers everywhere, causing a gag-refl…

Hello!
Well, I'm now accepting contributions for Mallard #4, and will be til June 10th. It's looking to be a good step up from the first three, and will be:
a) snazzier and more lovely looking
b) bigger, better, etc.
c) getting a higher print run
SO - if you fancy contributing any work, you are more than welcome to get in touch. There's no theme, no genre, no nothing - just you and whatever you'd like printed. Oh, but submissions should be a5 size, in black & white, and no longer than 6 p…

Hello, I'd just like to recommend to everyone the new Lewis Trondheim book - "Little Nothings - The Curse of the Umbrella" (NBM). I've just finished reading it yesterday and its really great. It's one of them comics that are trying to show daily life by all the little things that happen to him as he wanders about (some of the things are actually quite big such as winning the grand prize at Angouleme but arent shown as more important than getting a cat or seeing some starlings or a rainbow). Well, as I've joined this 'Manchester Comix Collective', I thought I might as well keep a blog - though I never have done before. Then again, I've never been given the opportunity to keep a blog strictly related to comics - so there's the difference.
As you might have noticed, I've uploaded the first two pages (there are five altogether, though the other three aren't complete yet) of a comic I've been inking called 'Dialogue #2', which is named so because that's basically all it is - a dialogue…
